Introduction

Outboxer is built with privacy at its core. This policy explains how we handle your data — which, in most cases, we don't. Our local-first architecture means your contact data, email templates, and campaign history stay on your machine.

What We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate our business:

• License purchase information (name, email, payment details via our payment processor)
• License activation data (license key validation, device count)
• Optional anonymous usage statistics (if you opt in)
• Support correspondence (if you contact us)

Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored only on your local machine and is never transmitted to us: contact lists, email addresses, email templates, drafts, send history, campaign data, and application settings. We have no access to this data.

License Validation

When you activate your license, Outboxer connects to our server to validate your license key. This transmits only the license key and a device identifier — no personal data, contacts, or email content is ever sent.

Anonymous Analytics

You may opt in to anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the product. This data includes feature usage patterns and crash reports, but never includes personal information, contact data, or email content. You can disable this at any time in Settings.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services for payment processing (Stripe) and license management. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Under GDPR and other privacy regulations, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
